Corte Cariano

Cariano Court is situated in one of the oldest short horseshoe of Valpolicella Classica, historic crossroads between Verona and Lake Garda. Until 1900, the stone pavement which made its entirety was used as a drying surface for seeds, which the ancients sharecroppers then resold to local dealers. The farm has three units unique and original, different in size, furnishings and colors, but all with exposed beams and wooden floors, rooms and cozy spaces marked by thick walls made of stone arches and steps follow each other, drawing the identity of each room. The focus on the particular has inspired the recent restoration, carried out with strict respect for the original material and the atmosphere. The furnishings are the subject of a detailed research that, excluding work series, allowed the recovery of old family furniture next to radiators sought in local markets, reinterpreted by a restoration cared for by the same owners. Court Cariano keeps warm a family with which he was born: the smells, the sounds and colors of Venetian culture outline a framework to live in the beautiful vineyards that surround the house. Barn apartment occupies the entire second floor of the farm Court Cariano, once used as a loft, where the grapes destined for Amarone were laid out on mats of cane for drying, to obtain the reserve of the family. The apartment consists of a large kitchen with fireplace, equipped with appliances (dishwasher, oven, Nespresso machine) with living room, a double room with frescoed bathroom, a second double bedroom with bathroom. In the latter it is possible to add two beds for children (2-12 years). Apartment della Pigna is located on the first floor. Here, soft colors and oriental furnishings and a refined blend the preciousness of paintings by Klimt. The furnishings in rush of water and dark woods offer tactile sensations to be discovered. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and the bathroom is lined by stone finishes Moon. The kitchen with living room can accommodate a full meal. Grape Room is on the first floor of Corte Cariano, until the '50s residence of the Brunelli family. The only solution is not equipped with a kitchen, but has a small fridge with possibility to have a Nespresso machine. The bathroom is warm and welcoming, with a spacious shower with stone finishes Moon (presence of a sofa bed). Each unit features included in the price of connections for your laptop. If necessary, the ground floor is at your disposal a terminal. Court Cariano provides you with two bikes. Air conditioning, cleaning costs, some bottles of wine are included in the price. The popular and award-winning wines of Cantina Brunelli, owner of the farm and a great interpreter of Amarone, can be tasted in the nearby showroom.
